MEETINGS

Invitation

Nanaimo Bee Club members who are interested in being a director of the Nanaimo Bee Club are invited to put their names forward for election in November. The current Bee Club Executive Committee is looking for individuals who are interested in supporting the direction of the Nanaimo Bee Club through education, publicity and the general operation of the Club. The Nanaimo Bee Club Executive Committee meets once monthly for approximately two hours. Please consider letting your name stand for election or bringing forward the name of individuals you believe may be interested in being a director.

The Nanaimo Bee Club meets the fourth Wednesday of every month, excluding the months of July, August and December.

Next meeting: Wednesday, February 22, 2012

Agenda:

  • Business

  • Education: The Inside Scoop on Mason Bees

Location: Fairview School, 205 Howard Avenue, Nanaimo.
Entrance to meeting room is next to the gym entrance on Second Street.

In our effort to reduce the amount of waste we produce at club meetings, we are asking that members bring a mug for the coffee break.

Interesting Thought: Honeybees make the best farmers and foresters. They can make something (honey) without destroying anything. They help the trees and plants that they visit.
